"I decided to open my own studio as I used to find that, with tighter budgets and job deadlines, and with a little one at home, I no longer had the freedom to stay at work until I was happy how things were sounding. It was at the point where I was doing the best job I could do in the time allocated, but not the best job I could do. Industry was my way to bring back the enjoyment of my job and spend the time I feel necessary to make a project the best it can be. Some of the best things in a sound mix can come from experimenting and taking the time to really listen. This is the part of the job I enjoy the most"

Jason started his post production experience in London, England 18 years ago. He worked for the world renowned Jungle Group. On returning to his homeland New Zealand, Jason spent six years at Images and Sound, and another six years at Envy Studios.

Jason decided to take the plunge and open Industry to give himself the freedom to spend as much time as possible to deliver the best possible job he expects for his clients. The reality is, despite tighter budgets, quality and level of expectations can’t be compromised. Your reputation and ours are everything.
